- The city of Lorient (58 000 inhabitants) is the center city of the third agglomeration of Brittany. It has a long history of innovative actions to preserve the environment: work on water and energy savings since the 1980s, the French capital of biodiversity in 2013, labeled ADEME Cit'ergie in 2015.
